Hey Everyone,
I finally passed the test for MD-88 Captain, and I now have a choice to switch to the 727, 757, or 767 programs. I was wondering what some of the more experienced pilots would think would be the best choice. I like all three aircraft, but I think I don't like the 757 as much. Which planes would you choose to fly and why?

I was gonna say the 757, but seeing you don't like it that much, I'd say the 767 unless you want to hand-fly and VOR fly with he 727. The 767 is a sweet plane and has a very reasonable range, it can fly "almost" anywhere.

I would go with the 727 (no bias here!) for the exact reason Juan stated above.....you will be forced to become better at handling an airliner. Flying the 727 requires a knowledge of using VORs, NDBs, and will increase your hand flying skills dramatically. When I joined the 727 program, I had to take the time to learn those things beyond what I already knew (which was pretty much limited to "programming" an FMC and letting the plane bring me within 1,000 feet of the runway).
As far as payware for the 727....the Flight1/Dreamfleet 727 is one of the best out there. Smooth to hand fly, and has great systems modeling and flight characteristics.
Just my opinion.

Any particular reasons why you don't like the 757? It is probably on one of the easiest aircraft to fly.

My 2cents are this......,....There are many great aircraft to fly...some days I want to hand fly a 727, somedays I want to FMS a 737-800 in FS9, other days I want the 757 in FSX, and still others I want to 747 into Dallas Love from ATL.
I just want to fly....sim I mean........I would get the 737 and then the 757 and then the MD-11 work your way up.
I have no favorites, it completely depends on the day.

If you don't like the 757 as much, you could try the 767, and work your way up to hand flying the 727. That's just my opinion, but they're all great aircraft to fly.
