So this has actually happened to me more than once, usually toward the end of the flight. Results in a serious reduction in frame rates and I can fly through the lines. Will usually bluescreen the system if I "push it too hard," and the lines become progressively worse as I get closer to the ground. Bluescreen error is always due to nv4disp.dll, so I'm assuming it's the nVidia driver.
Thoughts or solutions?
P.S. For the record, despite barely being able to see the runway, [10:43:12] Touchdown speed: -50.0 feet/minute for this flight

Looks like a video card issue. I had the same problem. Mine was overheating. I opened the cpu and cleaned with a little canned air. I left the side of my Dell open to help cool the card. If it does this at the end of a flight, I would guess this is the problem. Clean and add air and see what happens.

You might be on to something there. The inside of the tower is clean enough to eat off of, but the video card is largely encased in a massive HSF system, so who knows what's in there. I'll get a can of air with a vacuum and get that stuff out. Will report back; thanks!

Yeah, it has nothing to do with your computer, and everything to do with the Green Baron.

Them thar trees use Miracle Grow. LOL!
Definitely a VC problem there. Classic overheat it looks like. Dust it off, make sure it has plenty of ventilation and update your drivers if you can.
Cheers.

I dunno Bill, I think you're just seeing things...lay off the strong cheese at night
Yeah I'll join in the voices saying I had the same problem 'coz I did. Did some dusting and added some cooling fans and life sorted itself right out.

Well, thus far it appears to be problem solved. With a can of air on one side and the vacuum hose on the other, I got a bunch of stuff out of that fan. So far so good!
Thanks for the suggestion, Christopher!

In the meantime, I'd be double-checking the Vy for your aircraft. A go-around would have made the day "intersting"! :-)

Yeah, I've been a tad Indian (sometimes synonymous with hillbilly ) myself. While playing Crysis, I just open up the side of my case and have a nice, big stand-up fan just blow air into there. I don't think I actually need it, but I do it just to make sure. =)
