Does anyone know how to perform an autopilot ILS approach on FSX? I use the 737-800 default version.

ILS is tricky at first. Like Jeff said, just keep practicing, you'll get it!

If I could only give one hint... use the GPS to register your ILS approach [vectors]! Then you can use the switch labeled NAV/GPS. Make sure it's on GPS, and then click the NAV LOC button. It should hold you dead in the center of the runway approach. I use it often, and I can't imagine not using it. I guess I suck at lining up the 737 with the centerline!

The GPS WILL NOT Perform AUTOLAND..
You need to use the Autoland feature from 777 for this.
While using the GPS, you should disengage the Autopilot at @ 500 AGL and manually fly the plane on to the rumway.
If you want to use Approach hold, you have to tune in the ILS frequency for the Runway you are landing in NAV1 and make sure it is on.
And put in the heading for the runway in CRS (Course Selector) not HDG..
Make sure Autospoilers and Autobrakes are armed.
Switch to Nav mode when @ 20 NM Out, and once you have intercepted the ILS Glideslope (have to intercept it from below), hit the APP (Approach) button.
You have to control speed and flaps on this approach.
After touchdown, engage Reversethrusters untill you reach 80Knots, then disengage Reversethrusters, and taxi to gate.
