MMMX is really, really nasty with the altitude and the terrain (the STARs are very difficult IMO). Dave's right, don't even try FS ATC there. I did it one time, years ago in an Eaglesoft Citation X, and after I realized that it was pointing me at a mountain, I changed frequencies to shut them up and just flew it in myself.

I used to always wonder about the claims I heard about FS ATC guiding you into mountains and such,
but then I was flying all these simple west coast flat routes. Then one day I tried to use it on an
prop flight in Alaska, ROFL, OK, so it will get you killed, I was wrong
