Hi anyone know what the deal is i start the program and pick a plane do my flight plan and when i am at the gate doing the pre flight check lights and all fsx shuts down any pointers?

There could be any number of issues. Have you installed anything new lately (like add-ons) or made any adjustments under any settings?

Are you getting a CTD (Crash to Desktop) or do you mean the plane power shuts down and you are still in FSX?

no when i try to start the flight like even if i want to release my brakes the program just closes and it keeps doing that with everu plane or when i click on any switch like lights or seat belts i dont know what is causing this i did deleated all my cookies i dont know if thats tha problem?

Do you have either of the service packs installed? And you may have to try a reinstall. I think I've had to reinstall FSX like....6 times now? Maybe only 5...

i have sp3 yeah i think ill have some time off fsx i am looking to go back to fs9 insted soo thks anyways taylor hard to find fs9 tho if i wanted to buy it in san antonio is out noone has it so ill have to buy it online once again tks....:)

Adrian - what are your system specs? SP3 should do nothing at all to affect FSX. What FSX SP's do you have installed? Did you install Acceleration and if you did, did you also install SP2? If so, that could be your problem.
When you reinstalled FSX, did you get a new activation code?

well i really dont know what i have here i bought the game long time ago and i dont think i have acceleration at all i havent done anything to try to upgrade fsx just the flying kit from here and thats all... and about sp2 i dont think i have that either do i need the acceleration for some reason? if soo what is that good for? my comp specs are really not good to run fsx and enjoy the graphics thats why i want fs9
