Gentlemen,
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I have both sims installed and when I adjust my controls in fsx using fsuipc 4.3, when I go back to use my reliable FS2004, all my previous settings for my controls set up with fsuipc 3.7, are all screwed up. I use CH Flt Sim yoke, pedals and quad throttle. Presently after hours of resetting my controls in fs2004, I no longer have rudder control. I do not have autorudder checked, but can only get a tiny movement left or right and have to use my trim switch constantly. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am considering removing FSX. It's been such a pain.
Please someone talk me out of it !

Clarke - something you are doing is wrong. I have the FS9 version and FSX versions each on a sep hard drive. On my MacBook Pro - they are both on the same hard drive, each with their own specific version of FSUIPC. Maybe you have the FSUIPC path set to the FSX version in FS9? Have you tried uninstalling from FS9 and reinstalling? And sometimes, if you don't uncheck the FSUIPC box on some of the fleet downloads and ACARS downloads, it will overwrite your previous version. Just thinking out loud.

Andrew,
Thank you very for the advise. I will carefully check the paths of fsuipc. I really may have inadvertantly downloaded a version of fsuipc that I shouldn't. I have the payway edition and will attempt to remove any freeware and reinstall my payware version. Somehow, I must seperate both sims, the crossfeed is terrible.
Take care,
Clarke
