I don't use my Saitek X52 for anything but controlling the plane on the taxiways, unless I fly an Airbus. Today, while trying the PSS Airbus A320, the plane went into a stall, and I tried to pull on the stick, but I pulled a bit too hard. Is this fixable?

Can't really see the problem Brittany, if you could get a better pic of it, maybe we can tell if it is fixable or not.
Cheers

Right above the spring, you can see a little damaged area where the stick rotates.

Brittany,
Looks similar to what I did to my force feed back stick, Looks like the dust boot , Round solid plastic cup , correct? If so you may be able to contact Saitek and get a replacement cup for it, and dismantle the unit and replace it, Mine was from M$ and I was able to replace the cup.

SAitek doesnt sell parts.. CH does.. including potentimeters.
I have a x52 sitting here on the shelf that got replaced by my Saitek Pro Flight System and CH USB Pro Pedals. i am prolly going to throw that up on ebay shortly. Too expensive a joystick to just sit around on the shelf.

Can I still use the twist axis only, or will there be a conflict with my yoke? Is it fixable?

I thought the alpha system is supposed to help prevent a stall.

you can use the twist axis fine.. great thing about USB.. add as many as you like
one thing I liked was I had an old twist axis joystick..and I would set that on my desk to the left of my flight yoke.. when I am on the ground.. I would use the twist axis to "steer" the plane on the ground. I find that to be very realistic if you got the desk space for it.
