I didn't fly it too much. The Brazilia's range is actually pretty good for a turbo-prop wit hteh type of speed that it can put out. I did ATL-LEX. That's about it.

Oh Steve, YOU TOO!!! I've taken the 120 from SLC to Kalispell, long flight, nothing like Mark's though, ouch what is that like a 6 hour flight?
Thanks to maintenance, the GB has titanium props, reinforced underbelly, cowlings are from Skunkworks so not sure they are made of, oh, and every seat comes with a parachute...can't seem to keep them stocked up though, hm.

David sometimes increases the range of his EMB-120 by shearing off the landing gear on takeoff (don't ask me how he manages to accomplish this...)

David it was like 2 or 3 hours. A why would you need a parachute why not give them a lot of pillows seeing as you are only a hundered or so feet above the ground.

"til it runs out of gas" lolz
It depends on who is flying... if it is me, I would not say for more than a few cm (cause I don't fly Emb-120 )
Jokeing aside, why don't you fly it and see how far it flies?

In Keech's case it isn't the range that is the issue - it's how much of a beating the prop tips can take as he clears out yet another transition on the Mulch 1 departure...

Being an "old" guy with ADHD, I can only manage EMB-120 flights of about one hour tops! Sure is fun climbing for the sky and then dropping like a pancake on the runway. If you come across divots in the approach end of the runway it might be my fault...maybe! I think that something is wrong with my EMB-120 because Ground Effect doesn't seem to have any effect on my plane to slow the descent.....hehehe! If only I could see over the dashboard.....oh well, at least I am not trailing pine cones and bark onto the runway. LOL

EMB-120 base model range is 800NM. That is what is shown on the Embraer page, not the EMB120ER. Also, the ranges are with full pax and reserves, not ferry ranges.
