On the saitek throttle, I am using the first lever as my throttle. However it goes full throttle when i push the lever up to about 70%. I know it seems kind of petty, but is there a way for it to be a little more accurate? so when i push it to 100% it actually goes 100%?

Are you using FSUIPC (Registered) or are you using the Saitek SST software?

I have calibrated it in windows and according to windows it is calibrated correctly. I didnt like the saitek software so i just used windows default and I dont have a registered version of fsuipc.

honestly, your best bet to get it working correctly is to buy FSUIPC - it does so much more, and much better than the default FS maping and the SST software mapping.

I have Saitek yoke, throttle, and pedals. I have never installed any Saitek software, nor do I have
a registered FSUIPC and I've not seen this issue. Does it do the same on every plane, and are you
using FS9 or FSX?

Like Jack - I've both the Throttle Quadrant/Yoke/Pedals, and the X52 system - and I;ve never had a problem calibrating with either FSUIPC or just the FS Default
And ditto his version question....and add Vista or XP?

This is on Vista with FSX. Checking into the registered fsuipc.
Andrew, was just reading about the registered version, cant see anything there that would justify me to spend $40 on it. Is there something I am missing other than mapping controls?

I did some research and found this in the Saitek Forum-it appeared to work well with others who had the same situation:
"You can also adjust the range bands in the game controller panel in Start-->>Control Panel->>Game Controllers.
Open the config for the X52 and look for the tab with all of the range of motion bands. You can manuall adjust all the bands, and there is a toggle down on the bottom to disconnect the linking between top and bottom range of motion. If you do that, you can adjust the contol range of motion based on you throttle."
