You're welcome to fly these routes using the equipment for the original airline. That's what I do. They're in the schedule so you can fly them.
Cheers!

The North West routes are now owned by Delta, so I could use a Delta aircraft right?

You can fly any route in database in any aircraft you are rated in. So long as your rated in the equipment, and its a valid flight found in our schedule it will be a valid flight

no one mentioned above but you can use any plane you want SO LONG AS it can make it safely on fuel! if you cant make it you can request a fuel stop. for example you can look in my logbook I have a 757 from JFK to Rome with a Fuel stop in Keflavik Iceland.

Michael, it works like this - go to the pilot center and choose browse schedule
Any flight you find in there, you can fly, but it has to be in the aircraft you are rated in - looking at your profile, these are it: A300-600, A310, A330-200, A330-300, ATR-72, B1900, B767-200, B767-300, B767-400, BAE-146, CRJ-200, CRJ-700, CRJ-900, DHC-8, DO-328, EMB-120, ERJ-135, ERJ-145, ERJ-170, F100, F70, L-100, S340
There is one catch - the airplane to be able to physically get there without using unlimited fuel (i.e. the EMB-120 can NOT fly Atlanta to Paris, but the B767 can...)
So if you find a flight, be it Northwest, Alaska, Air Jamaica or whatever, no matter what equipment type is listed, you can fly it in the equipment types listed above (your ratings), if it has the range to make the flight
Hope that clears it up. If not, create a helpdesk issue and we'll get you going

The way I understand it, If I fly a Northwest flight, then I have to use the NW flight# but what ever equipment that can do the flight and I am rated in.
