you have to use the start-up procedures. CTRL-E won't work. Read the manual, it will help out.

Thanks for that tip, I was able to get the thing started and took off. At about 3,000 ft it starts pitching up uncontrollably even with auto pilot. It eventually stalls. Any more pointers or is there a better tutorial out there besides the flight manual that I might can use to learn how to fly this thing? Thanks.

This is the one I fly its free from this site. Also you should use the manual at the top of the page. Its for FS9,but the brief manual is worth downloading
http://www.simairline.net/concorde/air_france_fleet.html
Here is one for fsx on AVSIM.

So I made it up to about FL 320 today, then full throttle + afterburners but i had a horrible time keeping a steady climb and accelaration. Autopilot seems to make it worse. I gave up. Any ideas on what else to try?

Started with full load, hopefully that's not where I'm messing up? Surely it can take a full load all the way to mach 2?

Tried again today, using auto pilot on the climb is awful. It makes concorde pitch way up uncontrollably which causes air speed to drop and eventually makes the plane stall. Manually using the joystick and pitch is better but I still think I'm doing something wrong. Any more tips from anyone? I guess I should just stick to the slow planes

I had the same problem until I went to the Simairline Concorde. Also at T/O be sure to hit shift+f4 for that extra boost and check that all 4 engines are running.I purchased the payware version for fs9 but sold it.Found it to difficult to fly.

None of the tutorials I have seen have talked much about fuel management other than to use auto fuel management. I should try to find more detail on that and try to manage the fuel myself?
