Hello All... I know this problem has been solved a million and one times but I can't seem to get it right. I confirmed that FSUIPC4 has been installed into FSX and when I load up a flight, I don't have the FSUIPC tab and It will not connect to ACARS. No Anti-virus software is blocking it, running everything as Admin. Downloaded it with Acars and individually from the net, still nothing. Any Ideas?
UPDATE= I found out the problem... I have no FSX CFG file... I wonder how this happened. It seems as if FSX installed without a CFG file?

Hello All, I recently reinstalled FSX, but now I have no CFG file and I can't get FSUIPC to show up. Any tips?

You do have an FSX.CFG ... it is hidden.
C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\(Your Windows User Name)\Microsoft\FSX
If you are running Vista try:
C:\users\(name)\Appdata\roaming\microsoft\fsx
Also, see this link:
http://www.flightsimulationforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=694
It explains how to search for and view hidden files

Cheers!

Yes I've ran it about six times. I've clicked yes to have fsx trust FSUIPC as well, but it still doesn't show up.
**meant to say where instead of were on my last post... sorry
