Hi,
Every time I start FS9 I get this message. How can I fix it so I don't have to click "yes" every time?
Thanks
-Kyle

Hey guys,
You should be able to add this section to your FS9.cfg file if you don't have it already:
[OldModules]
TCAS2V7.dll=1
You may already have the OldModules section, then you would just have to add an entry for the TCAS.
Feel free to post more questions if you have them.
Hopefully this helps,
-Dave

I checked in my FS9.cfg and there was no showing TCAS2V7.dll. I found my folder "Modules" it has file TCAS2V7.dll. What is system do with this? I have no problem start up FS2004 running. None of interrupt or won't start like Kyle has menu box pops up. Mine is working fine. If I see this problem I will do this add to my fs9.cfg.
I already updated FSUIPC 3.85 2 weeks ago.
Thanks,
Stuart

Hey Stuart,
I would probably say that the entry is in your FS9.cfg somewhere. At any rate if it's working fine and you don't get the message above you probably shouldn't worry about it. If it isn't broke there's nothing to fix.
Blue Skies,
-Dave

Ok so I did what you said and it is still giving me the same problem. Do I need to delete it?

Hey Kyle,
I just looked at my setup and I don't have an entry in the FS9.CFG like I thought. Must be because it's installed in the Flight Simulator 9 root directory and not the modules folder. I have version 1.1.4.0 of the file on my computer and have no issues.
I found this when looking for what the issue is...
http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:Dm21LPdih6MJ:forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php%3Faz%3Dshow_topic%26forum%3D137%26topic_id%3D24745%26mode%3Dfull+TCAS2V7.dll&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=us
Looks like some things may place older versions of the gauge in your FS9 root folder. Have you installed anything recently that may have started giving you this issue?
Here's the link in case you feel like trying to replace the gauge: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004gau&DLID=48834
Let us know how you make out.
Cheers,
-Dave

Hey Kyle,
I just did a quick test and stuck my file in the modules directory and I got the same error you did, so I would bet that is what the deal is. Just move the file from the modules folder to the FS9 root folder and the message should go away.
