Every time I click DEPP ARR on the crj700 model(not the 900 model or the 200 model) FSX crashes and restarts. I posted in their tech support, and they told me to make sure I have UAC turned off for installation which I do. I also have their ejet software which hasn't had any problems at all(I just popped the disc in installed the program loaded the ac and everything worked perfectly). I've reinstalled the program numerous times(even removing the fsx default crj), and the problem hasn't gone away. Does anyone have any idea what more I can do, I'd really like to fly this plane and not think my 40 dollars went down the drain for nothing...

Are you running FS with a card that is not DirecX compatible?
Make sure you have these minimum requirements:
Microsoft Flight Simulator X(Windows XP/Vista) / Flight Simulator 2004 (Windows XP) - Windows XP/Vista 32 bits - Pentium 1 GHz - 128MB RAM - 220Mb available Hard Disk space.

Ryan, I had this EXACT same problem as you, so I installed the latest Nvidia Driver, and it fixed it. Never had that problem again.
Here's the free download, just fill in your system information, and it will give you the correct driver.

Ryan, its a really BAD idea to delete default things from the sim! Why, well
because sometimes other addon's ASSUME something exists, and they use
what's called an 'alias' to reference some loadable object like for a panel.
Guess what happens when you have deleted it, uhuh, mysterious crashes
due to null pointers (caused by the missing files).

I didn't delete the default crj I just moved the folder out of FSX for the time being=). Also, I wouldn't think my graphic card would be out of date. I just bought the card about a month ago.

Let me also add.. IF my card is out of date for some reason how come the Wilco Ejets work perfectly fine. That software is much newer than the Wilco CRJ. I'll give updating the card a try. I'll let report back with the results in a bit...

99.9% of Ryan's problem is due to an out of date card and/or the card is not compatible with DirectX 9 or 10. Feelthere has long ago determined that crashes with the Wilco have nothing to do with the actual CRJ. Update your drivers and make sure everything is compatible and supported with each other. That's the best I can say.

If you read above I just updated the 9800 gt card I just installed a month ago into my pc. The pc is running directx10, I have 3 other payware aircraft I bought at the same time and they all work fine. This includes the Wilco Ejets(the others being the wilco 737 PIC and flight1 ATR), which I said above haven't had a single problem at all. To answer Carl's question I went back to Nvidia scanned my system for updates. After I installed the update, and it said everything was up to date. Did I need to reinstall the crj program after I updated the card?

I didn't have to, so I don't think you do either. If that didn't do the trick, then I'm lost. Sorry Ryan..

Did the 900/200 work before you updated your card? Like I said both of those work fine. I clicked the DEPP ARR like a million times and they didn't crash. It makes no sense why two of the three aircraft would work perfectly while the other works perfectly except fot when you click DEPP ARR.

Did you test out the 700 to see if it crashes on yours?
