It's pretty big
Are you sure there is enough space inside HP box?

Dont forget, the stock power supply will most likely not be able to handle that video card. Look at the 12 volt rails on the psu and the requirements on the video card.

I have an Asus 8800GTX with a 22" wide screen monitor set to 1680x1050 and love it. I've never had any issues with it, it runs movies, FS9, splinter cell and other graphic intense games very well. It is VERY big and takes up a lot of space. In fact I can't use one of my PCI slots on my mother board because it covers it up, and, it's long so i have to space my hard drives apart or the back of the card with hit them. You'll want to make sure that your current computer case with have room for it. I would also make sure your PSU is at least 500W, even though it says 450W. Also you'll need proper airflow throughout your case cause this thing can run hot, but with adequate airflow it will keep a constant temp. Normally, mine will stay around 68C even with FS9 running for 10 hours. If you can afford it I would go with the GeForce 9 series, it plays HD movies and games a bit better than the GeForce 8 series does. Personally, my next card will be the GeForce 200 serise, but that will be when they get a lot cheaper and games start to coming out that make full use of the PhysX hardware.

I had the Ultra at one time. Great card, and mighty big... the problem would be finding it...
