I normally fly with FS9's default real world weather with 15 minutes updates, but everytime I do the winds get all messed up. Take the flight I'm doing right now. I started out with a wind from 345 blowing 57kts, it then changes to 048 at 57kts, then 240 at 60kts then 355 at 58kts all within about 30-45 seconds. My poor autothrottle is spending the whole flight trying to stay at one IAS but can't because the winds keep changing direction all the time. Does this happen because FS9 just doesn't have good weather programing? I cannot imagine that real world weather at altitude behaves this way. The highest I've ever flow at is 7500 feet (helicopters don't really like to fly very high) and never saw anything like I see in FS. Also, every commercial flight I've taken, I've never heard the engines sound like my FS ones do trying maintain an IAS. Does anyone with Active Sky have this problem. I've been putting a lot of thought into buying it to solve this problem, but if it doesn't, I may just fly with out any weather at all. Thanks for the help,
Michael
