S.O.S! May Day! Code Red! Blue 42 hut hut hike! WHATEVER it's called! (Over reacting maybe?) I got the dreaded Blue Screen Of Death (BSOD) When I got it, i though to myself no biggie, I'll restart. I restarted and oh dear god there it is again i tried to boost up windows normally i tried last good configuration i tried safe mode and i still get the BSOD! If you can help i will give you three goats a horse shoe and a deer antler (I had a red bull hope this explains my weirdness)

"(I had a red bull hope this explains my weirdness)"
The moment I read that I thought "Ohhh oookkk". LOL
Trust me, don't try anything while your all scared about the crash.
Wait an hour or so (no more red bull), and then get on an alternate computer and search google to research the problem.

look up your motherboard model, download the bios, burn it to a dvd or cd.
leave it in the dvd drive, turn off ur comp, restart your comp, when it say "boot from cd", hit enter.
the bios will do that.
sometimes motherboard bios doesn't recognize the memory, causing the blue screen of death. update the software will help. good luck.

Be careful, you can really mess up your PC while updating the BIOS.

Chuong I feel you're giving out bad advice. You should always reset your motherboard settings to default BEFORE you flash your BIOS as well.
I don't see how flashing the BIOS will help in this case really it seems unlikely to be a BIOS related problem. BIOS problems rarely just pop out of no where. It would be more constructive at this point to ask you what you were doing on your PC. Have you recently installed any new drivers or software. As someone has already asked, can you give us any more details about the error and what exactly comes up on the BSOD.
Sometimes what works, is to boot to the windows cd as if you were going to do a new installation but choose the option to repair windows which re-writes the registry. At least that way you should be able to save all your important documents before you will probally have to format.
Harvey, if you don't know what BIOS is how to flash it I wouldn't recommend doing it.

after trying everything in the advanced options page and still getting the BSOD i was tempted to tie my computer to the back of an f-22 and have her t/o with full afterburners. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary with my computer just out of nowhere it popped up and scared the crap out of me. I get this error code on the BSOD: ox89d4ec98,0xc000000,0x000000,0x0000000
To boot the Windows CD would i need to have the registration code because i think my cleaning lady threw it away (Idiot.) Thanks guys or helping me out

Harvey, try to get the correct error, I tried looking at Microsoft and couldn't get the error codes. I assumed that the first error is 0x89d4ec98, the first digit seems an "o" but it should be a "0". Anyway, look closely to how many digits are.
