Okay guys, here is one for you techies.
I just recently reformatted my computer because I was not able to see any aircraft. I reset my router, even though I am connected directly to the internet, just to rule out any errors. I reset everything, took all the firewalls off my computer and took off all the anti-virus software as well. I reinstalled my Trend Micro, made sure I had all the firewalls turned off on my router, therefore all my ports would be open (correct me if I am wrong).
Now last night during the online event, I was able to see maybe 2 or 3 aircraft at KATL however, some aircraft still did not appear. Same as I was going to KIAD. Now, what I did was I went on the search here and was researching it some more, the reason I cannot see aircraft. I see that when I went to multi-player and saw "connect" I went ahead and connected to the SB Server once again. Then I had the "SB has joined the Server" message. I beleive that would be the reason to me being able to see SOME of the aircraft. However, it is still bugging me as to why I can only see a small handful of aircraft when there are more pilots online.
If anyone can help me that would be great. I have SKYPE and would love to be able to see if someone could maybe walk me through any steps that might help me here or would help me see the aircraft. Your help is greatly appreciated. You can also contact me at ted.crowley@us.army.mil
Here are the specs to my computer:
Windows Vista Home Premium Edition
RAM: 2046
32 Bit OS
Intel Duel Core Processor 1.80 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT Graphics Card
Router Info:
Belkin N Wireless Router
ISP: Time Warner Cable
Motorola SURFboard Model: SBV5220
If you need any other information, please let me know.
