People never seem to understand this, so one more time...
The VC is not just a panel, its part of the 3D model of the plane,
only textures for us are in the panel subdirectory.
So, its never as easy to merge, sometimes its just flat out undoable.
Given how the C instruments and VC work I suspect you'll have a
lot of trouble trying to merge them into the D. I would suggest
doing the simpler merge of just a couple gauge updates and be
happy with that

BTW, I own both, and as much as I enjoy flying them, they both have
rather disappointing VC. The front of the cockpit just seems SO 'flat'
or something, I actually think the 1900C is nicer to fly from the 2D
panel. Its to bad there aren't more great cockpits for turboprop, the
ATR is the only one that's worth anything IMHO.
