Great stuff, Pat, thanks. I'm running the E-Jets on Vista x64 without trouble...but I have OpenOffice installed, not Microsoft Office. I know the E-Jets coexist peacefully with OpenOffice 2.4. I've just upgraded OO to 3.0.1 and have not messed with FS since I did so.
BTW, if this problem is with ODBC and the Wilco navigation database, it *might* also affect those who own the Legacy, ERJ-145 PIC, 737 PIC, 777, or Airbus Volume 1/Volume 2 packages as well--they all use the same database. IIRC, all Wilco's stuff except the CRJ use the same navigation files for their FMCs.

Pat,
Thanks very much for the insight. I had to switch to Vista as I could not run FSX or FS9, VATSIM, and ACARS at the same time. I have to admit the E-Jets is one of my favorites. I took your advice and when I switched over I installed the E-jets first. It runs better than under XP, now I can select the SIDs instead of putting each waypoint in individualy. I will take Lewis's advice this weekend and install office. Is C:\program files(x86) the correct directory for all FS related programs? My FSX does not show up as a menu item. I had to go into the FSX root directory and make a shortcut to run the program. Thanks again.
Chuck
