I am having an issue with FS9,i can't steer,i have to use my rudder,i have tried calibrating my joystick, searched all kind of posts, been into settings countless times,it works the way it is suppose to as soon as i lift off the runway.I tried it on fsx and it works the way it is suppose to so i am thinking it is a setting in fs9 i am missing, any help would be greatful.

If you have a joystick that twists all you should have to do is twist it to turn on the ground.

While on the ground, the nose wheel is tied to the rudder. ie. they will both turn with your input. Make sure to see if you have the autorudder checked in Realism. As Casey stated above, if you have a twist stick controller, twisting the joystick will control both the rudder and nose wheel. You may have autorudder checked in FSX which is why you were able to steer with jostick, if not a twist stick. The autorudder function ties the rudder to the wings as far as joystick functions go. If you don't have a twist stick, make sure autorudder is checked and just turn the plane while on the ground the same way you would bank a turn in the air.

Try seeing if your rudders are assigned to any control axis. I have mine set to an axis on my throttle which does just as you describe if I turn autorudder off. It will still work with autorudder turned on, actually.

Also, check to see that the yaw damper is turned off so you can taxi. In the B-757 if the yaw damper isn't turned off (overhead panel on the left side halfway down), you have no steering on the ground.
