it looks ok to be honest dale,
a better indication of what the processor is actually doing you can get with task manager. hit ctrl+alt+del (not a gag, it is legit on NT based os's, it doesnt rebbot your PC) and then select teh middle tab, i think it is called performance. You will get an overall CPU losd then s grsph for each of the 4 cores.
97% is quite normal for FSX and it is a good sign it is using all the cores otherwise the oversall cpu would be 25 or 50 % depending if it was a dual or quad cpu only using one core.
The fact your GPU is at 167degF leads me to believe your CPU is OK as my GPU was running marginally hotter than my CPU under heavy load and your CPU is a lot cooler which is good news.
I think the pauses are just one of those things with FSX, maybe Chuong can tell us If he gets them on his 12gig of RAM and uber CPU, although it maybe because we are running a 32bit OS and FSX is really pushing the envelope with only 32 bit memory adddressing
