When lowering the flaps. Any setting other than Flap 0, Caution light and red illuminated "Slats Disagree" comes on. I didn't know if there was a way to adjust the slats, or just the flaps.

That message will appear normally untill the flaps/slats attain your commanded position. If that light stays on even after normal ext/ret, then you have a problem. Does the light turn off after the flap/slat setting is attained?

I have a screen shot, but I am having trouble linking it to this thread. To the right of the flap position indicator a red illuminated Slats Disagree comes on as soon as you lower the flaps and stays on. At the very top of the panel a yellow illuminated Stab out of trim is illuminated at full flaps. I have tried adjusting the trim to make lights go away but they don't. Doesn't affect flying of plane...Just a curiousity, annoyance thing.

I got your e-mail Joseph. I was adjusting the trim in wild swings up and down to try and see if the "STAB OUT OF TRIM" would go out. It originally came on while AP was engaged and locked on the localizer. I will do some high altitude testing and try your suggestion. Thanks again for the help.

Rodney - if you are using your joystick/yoke to adjust the trim, it is way, way too sensitive. Try using the 4 and 7 keys on the keyboard with single presses to adjust trim. If you hold the keys, they will exponentially adjust trim

I was using joystick toggle for trim. I will try using NUM pad.

Sorry to leave everyone hanging. I have started using the keypad to adjust the trim. The Slats disagree illuminates as soon as you adjust the flaps. The "Stab out of trim" comes on while AP is controlling the plane on approach, but as soon as I take manual control and adjust the trim maually the light goes out. It seems that AP makes huge adjustments to trim while on the localizer keeping nose way up. I usually keep speed up to around 145 - 150 on approach with 3/4 to full flaps depending on weight. I can't see the runway without reducing the panel on AP so I usually fly manual approaches.

I have the same visual problem. Because I fly with FS9 I usually press ALT+Enter to bring the view down a bit. Then ALT+Backspace when entering the flare. You just have to keep your AOA orientation with the artificial horizon.
I don't fly the fleet 88 much but the MADDOG '06's trim fluctuates wildly when it tries to capture a speed/decent rate. I do all my approaches by hand to avoid any potential problems.

The disagree will always come on when 'initiating' a flap/slat change but should go out once the movement has stopped.
