Hi everyone.
Ive been having this issue for quite some time now, but I havent really asked if there is a solution.
My PMDG 747 autobrakes never work. I use FSUIPIC (Registered) for the throttle, yoke and pedal axis calibration. But its the only add on in which autobrakes don't work on landing and I Have to manually brake the aircraft. They work ok with Wilco Airbus, PSS 777 and Level D 767.
Anyone having this issue?
Thanks so much for your comments....

It's the actual rudder pedals. Unplug it and check it out, worked for me. I had the same problem with the 747 and the MD-11.

Thanks Paul. I'll try that tonight. Anyway, if that's the issue, how did you manage to resolve it? Do you fly without pedals?
Kind regards

Yeah, you really just have to unplug it prior to firing up FSX/FS9 so it doesn't detect pedals at all. It sucks, but that was the only way I could get it working for the MD-11. There may be another fix out there through FSUIPC but I don't know what it is. I just know what works! Haha. Lemme know if that fixes it

Ill search on FSUIPIC forums as well as in the PMDG ones, and meanwhile, i think its easier to just leave them on connected and brake manually when landing....
Ill post if i find something there...
cheers

This is about "auto" brake, so why does it have anything to do with pedals?
Its the thing you set so the brakes fire off automatically without you touching
the pedals
I have Saitek pedals, yoke, and throttle if that matters to anyone. I've had no
problems with the autobrake engaging on touchdown, I normally don't touch
the pedals on autoland, only thing I do is fire reverse thrust.
I fly the MD-11 and have autobrake work flawlessly with the pedals installed so
I'm not sure what Paul's problem is.
Make sure you have autobrake armed, something that should be done on approach
I believe, along with arming autodeploy of the spoilers.

The autobrake works fine on the MD-11 now, but it didn't before. There are actually quite a few people on the PMDG forums that have this problem, and it took us a while to figure it out. Like I said, there is a fix using FSUIPC, but I don't know what it is. I am having the same problem with the 747 right now, so it does still exist. Don't ask me, I'm still trying to figure it out.

Hmmm, I've flown a few legs with the 747 lately, but I've been battling weather/wind
problems and many legs never ended due to issues enroute, I'll have to set Fair Weather
and do a flight to see if it works ok, or maybe I was stomping on the pedals and didn't
think about it
