I'll put my virtual pay on that the emb-120 will run out fuel and will go down in the Pacific Ocean. The Emb's range is 771nm and that trip is almost double the range of the aircraft.

also the EMB is deifinately not ETOPS rated - you're wasting your time - remember the requirements for flight are any aircraft you are rated in that can make the trip...which the EMB can't

Adding to what Andy and Chris said...unless you're carrying nothing but fuel tanks in the back of that Brasilia instead of passengers, or rigged up a drogue on the side and have a KC-130 on call, you ain't making it. And even if you did, if you filed the PIREP, it'd get rejected. You can try it for fun, I've done stuff like that before, a lot of us have. But save yourself a few seconds of time and don't bother filing it, that way it saves whoever rejects it a little strain on their mouse finger.
Remember the rule--IF it's a valid flight from the website, AND you're rated in the aircraft, AND the aircraft can safely make the trip, you can file it. You need all three to be true before filing a PIREP on a flight.
BTW, people in real life have done twin turboprops between California and Hawaii many times, of course. I remember reading about a real around-the-world flight done with an King Air E90. The Honolulu-California run was their last leg and the longest they did, and even with almost every cubic inch of the passenger space crammed with fuel tanks and some very economical flying, they barely made it. Unfortunately, the only way you could simulate something like that in FS would be manually--fill your passenger slots up with huge amounts of weight, and then stop every so often and "transfer fuel" by refilling your fuel tanks and removing weight from the cabin. That's not unlike how the E90 crew did it, they pumped fuel from the cabin tanks into the main wing tanks every so often.

I've done it in the DC6, it's doable, and a legitimate Historical flight.

I think you'd have to climb up to a really high altitude to conserve your fuel consumption.
I personally don't think it is possible unless you had a strong tailwind pushing you along the way maybe.
But good luck.

Probably at the second you file, the PIREP will be rejected.. btw how did you do this flight with the EMB: http://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0x61a2d ?? it almost the double of the range of the Brasilia.

Augusto..i can do things in the EMB-120 and the CRJ because i'm good at it..619 hours is nothing to sneeze at..
So it gets rejected,i'm gonna print it off and paste it on the wall...its an accomplishment...
not to mention, people will be checking ACARS to see my progress

In the AOM it says that the maximum payload range of the EMB-120ER is 1570NM with reserves. So, if you lower the payload, the range should be greater than that.

First of all, I didn't say that you are good or not in the CRJ/EMB, also, if you really want to arrive safely in California, it's better if you go to San Francisco, it's near to HNL than LAX.
