Hey guys, sorry to bug you again, but I've been searching the web for solutions to this run time error 52? If i'm not running Radar Contact as an administrator I recieve runtime errro 73!!! I've had teh program for 4 days, and it worked fine until yesterday. Now once I start it and after I get cleareance it crashes with a runtime error 52 radarcontact.fsuipc.rcv4 message. I've reinstalled the program and I'm not sure exactly at to do, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have RC, but I've never seen that before. Have you tried posting this at the RC forum on AVSIM? They should be able to get this sorted out for you.

I've tried to no avail so far, everythin I try is no good. I wonder is it a conflict with Traffic 2005? I'm using Vista 32 bit and I am running it as an administrator.

The way to see if Traffic05 is conflicting is to disable (uninstall) traffic. I've had RC since it's release years ago - and haven't seen this error. Best to plop a note on their forums like Sheldon stated.
Try looking in here:

Maybe ensure you have the latest C+++ running (and .NET)

Thanks both of you, I found the forum and JD responded on asking if I used an anti virus program by the name of kapersky. I do not I use norton 360 and I haven't heard anymore feed back. The thing that kills me is it works after multiple restarts.

Welll... IMHO Norton isn't really all it's cracked up to be... but that's just my thinking.

I personally use Avira AntiVir. It works great for me, it doesn't try and take over your computer, and it's free. If you get rid of Norton, be aware that it's a very hard program to eliminate, but it can be done! Good luck!

Thanks Skip, I ended up moving RC to a different directory on the c: drive and that seems to have solved my problem which leads me to believe it was a norton issue. As for Avira I'm goin to look into it. Thanks for all of your responses.
