I'm just wondering, how many people use the Mac's hardware to run FS9/X via bootcamp?
In my opinion, I like the Mac a lot more and that MS should make an FS for Mac.

Just got my mac mini. Love it. Doubt it'll run FS9 though. I'll probably get a Mac Pro at some point and make that my main machine. I'm sure it'll have no problem running FS9.

Cooling pad is a must for the MacBook Pro. This thing cooks when you have FS9/X cranking.

Gary, sorry but unfortunately I can't join in on this battle to find their bunker lol I use both PC and MAC. and personally I don't have a preference! There are some things that a MAC is better at while there are other things a PC is better at, so it really depends on what the owner is going to be using the computers for to decide which is best for their needs.
So I'll be the guy sitting on the lawn chair, smokin a cigar, and taking pics of the battle and the news helicopters once they show up lol

I priced out Macs and they go cheap on graphics cards and I would have to spend twice as much to get the same performance, now Macs are pretty, but I am about performance on a budget, I myself don't have deep pockets to afford a Mac.

my pockets are deep enough to afford a mac, and i still go PC.. agreed windows is not the best operating system available, but that's only part of the equation!
to the OP, i have heard great results of running fs9/fsx with high end macs via bootcamp.

I love macs. 99% of my forum posts (including this one) are on my mac. I'm lucky enough to have an old mac and a PC. I run FS on my PC seeing that my current mac is too old. I love the mac operating system. So easy. If there is a problem, I'm for sure going to fix it with ease; with windows, it could take some complications.

'Many people fail to realize that the guts of both computers aew the same.'
yeah, so what's with the price hike? mac pro sells for $3300 according to the apple site. included is 2x Nehalem quad cores (8 total) 2.26ghz, 6gb ram, 640gb hdd, NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 with 512MB.
for $1000 less i could build a 2x nehalem quad cores 2.26ghz (8 total), 12gb ram, 640gb hdd, dual GTX 260 896mb (SLI). double the ram, more than double the video power. the dual xeon mobos are giant, so I just threw in an average prices case. no idea what fits them.
