I would like to know if this PC is worth the value. Also, if it can fun Fs2004 on full graphics, with PMDG MD-11 and a payware airport scenery. In addition, can this computer run fs2004 (I dont know about the "bits" on vista- if someone could explain them to me...)
THANKS

I say build it yourself. The GTS 120 cannot compare to say the 9800GT. You can get a way cheaper machine by building yourself, and take it from a person who just built his first computer, it is dirt cheap and super easy.

Going on from what Matt said, yes building your computer is fairly easy and is a lot cheaper. The biggest thing when building your computer is making sure that all the parts are compatible. The easiest way to do that, is to start at the motherboard, and when your choosing a component for that motherboard, just reference back to it and make sure its the right speed, or chipset, etc. I don't think I would ever buy a gateway again after my experiences with them but I am sure other people have loved them. Jeff if you have any questions or want help building a computer to a budget just shoot me an email.

Thanks guys...See, I am really trying to stay away from building a computer. This past winter, I was scared out of my mind to install a little RAM into the computer. In do not know anything about building computers, and also I really want to buy a pre-built comp because it has warranty.

All of the things on Newegg have some type of warranty, and it isn't really hard to troubleshoot. Also, when a part dies, you could ship it back to Newegg, and you would still have a computer that may have onboard graphics that you could continue to use. If you buy from Gateway, you'll have to ship it back to gateway and never see it for a month or so. Building is easy, and I was also scared. But it really isn't hard, 'cause a first timer (me) just built his in under an hour. A really good tutorial is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdsUuWlhOvo&feature=channel_page . He is fantastic. As far as that system, it's a waste of money IMO. In order to get a good FSX experience, you'd have to spend another $150-200 on the graphics card.

Im watching the video- its scaring the heck out of me! How do I know if all the parts are compatible? Can anyone else give me insight on this matter? How much would building one cost, and which one would run FS2004 to the MAX! And maybe even fsx for below 1000 dollars.

Jeff, all the parts are standardized to ATX. ATX is the standard for building computers. There are ATX cases, motherboards, and power supplies. Put in the power supply by lining it up with the screw holes on the case. Screw it in. The power supply has a 24-pin and a 6-pin connector. Plug those in to the motherboard. Install the CPU--Make sure that if you get a LGA775 motherboard that you get a LGA775 processor. For instructions on how to install a LGA775 processor into the LGA775 socket and how to install the heatsink and fan, see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFEOd7nQbuQ . DO NOT USE A LGA1366 PROCESSOR IN A LGA775 SLOT. DO NOT FORCE THE PROCESSOR INTO THE SOCKET. If you have to force it, you're doing something wrong. LGA775 is the socket that is Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, and Pentium, which gives you some room if you want to upgrade in the future. Put in the HDD and the DVD drives into the case, and screw them into position according to your case. Plug in the SATA cable into your HDD and into your motherboard. On the motherboard, it is labelled SATA 0. Plug in the SATA power cable from your power supply into your hard drive. Plug in the 4-pin MOLEX connector (4 pins in one line) into your DVD drive from your power supply. Attach the IDE cable (the long, strippy cable that comes with your motherboard) from your DVD drive to your motherboard. THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO INSERT THE IDE CABLE. ONCE AGAIN, IF YOU HAVE TO FORCE IT YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG. Connect the power, and reset LED's, the power and reset buttons, and the USB ports connectors to the motherboard. These instructions are in your motherboard manual. Install the fan by screwing it into the case. IF YOU INSTALL THE FAN ON THE BACK, MAKE SURE IT IS EXHAUST, NOT INTAKE. Connect the fan to the motherboard. Fire up the computer, and install windows or whatever operating system you have lying around.

Jeff, building computers is a great experience and the knowledge you gain will serve well beyond your interest in FS.
that being said, that gateway is pretty reasonably priced for what you get. i priced it out at newegg, and while i picked a better video card and some other goodies - mine came out to $800 too. https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=13652748
