When I get home in 3 months and I'm ready to sim again, I'm going to buy a new computer.
I'd like to do it via NewEgg, but I have a question.
Certain hardware isn't compatible with other peices of hardware. Will NewEgg's store automatically warn me about this like companies like HP, Dell, or Alienware do, or will I only find out when I get the computer and it catches on fire?
TIA,
Alexander Kolb

No, they just assume you know. Just remember, processors have different sockets, so don't pair up a core i7 with a LGA775 socket. TigerDirect and Newegg have DIY kits that contain all the parts required to make a computer, so I assume they know if they are compatible or not. There are plenty of forum posts and YouTube videos on the issue.
