Hey Guys- I have been having alot of trouble with my new pc. Anyways, I tried to go JFK-TLV today, and when I returned from errands- fs9 froze and I had to re-start my computer. Specs are as follows:
I7 2.6GHZ
640GB HD
NVIDIA GTS 250 1GB Video Card
8GB Ram
Please help!

Conor- I think it has something to do with vista/fs9 compatibility. Anyone else have a similar problem?

I too am very interested in this topic as I plan to get a Gateway gaming laptop with 64 bit windows 7 and I am afraid that most of my older programs won't work at all or poorly.

Hi All, Im running on Vista x64 with similar system specs as Jeff. FS9 has remained stable for the past 12 month. Only problem Ive found is certain addons seem to have memory leaks and end up with CTD's !!

I'm having similar issues on my new laptop. I can run FSX at low-medium settings at 30 FPS (locked) but FS2004 gets 2.0-7.0 FPS no matter what the setting are. I'm thinking that it might be a DirectX 10 issue since that is the only change I have made lately. I was getting 15-30 FPS on FS2004 before.

It sounds like when I get my computer I will have to buy all new programs, that dosen't sound good.
