Today the problem I thought had was done with returned... I had a pretty good approach into KLAX today and had a good landing, except for this major problem. As I neared the ground the rudder started moving ever so slightly to the left. This wasn't too much of a problem as I still landed at -268fpm, but as soon as I got on the ground the rudder went all the way left, causing the aircraft to swerve off the runway, make a loop on the grass and then swerve back onto the runway before I managed to stop the thing and clear the active. I use a simple old joystick with no rudder axis and use the auto-rudder feature to steer on the ground. You can see the flight data that shows this here: http://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0x65cd0
My question to you experts is this - what's causing this issue and how do you fix it? Thanks a lot!

On the ground, any deflection left or right of the stick will be interpretted and left or right rudder.
Is the center possition of the joystick ok?, does it cause a slight right roll while in flight?
Have you tried recelibrating your joystick or making the nullzone larger so there is no "creep" while the stick is centered

The joystick is calibrated as far as I can tell. Haven't had any other problems, just happens every once in a while but annoying. Thanks for the help though!

Try replacing the joystick if you have had it for a while. I have the same problem with my Logitech Attack3 joystick. I make it a practice to check the calibration before I fly. Sometimes for no reason it causes my ailerons and rudders to deflect extreme left or right. Calibrating before starting FS usually fixes the problem but I'm thinking of replacing it.

What aircraft model is this ? I remember having something similar with POSKY 757. I believe it had to do with yaw damper.

Had exactly the same problem with Saitek X52
Recalibration with bigger zero zone did the job
Don't want to change it because I like it.

If you have a Saitek x52 try checking the postion of the lower knob on the throttle. The knob is around the info (I) button next to where you thumb would rest. Turn that knob until you feel a bump. It knob needs to be at that location, which is the centered line. After that try flying if it still does not work then you may need to check other stuff.

I have tried all of the above but actually found that the only thing that solves it is unplugging and replugging the joystick in. Pretty easy!

Sorry, I was wrong!
Zero zone has nothing to do with Z Rotation axis problem. It ruined my flight to Nairobi last night and I don't have solution yet.
