Hi, yesterday, i landed at KATL and was asked by atc which ramp i wanted to park, i simply looked at my airport diagram and told him 2S, I was wondering, what if i landed at another airport like heathrow and didnt know which terminal delta parks. Is there some diagram online that shows delta airlines parking spots and terminals at different airports?

When I want to find out the gate for a flight im flying for DVA, I actually use the delta.com website and use their flight status application - it will tell you what gates and terminals. I just find the flight number for the flight Im flying for DVA and enter it on delta.com. The option for the flight status on the delta.com website is right under the box that says "Book a Trip".

The ATC didn't necessarily mean a gate. If you look on the ATL facility chart there are 6 ramps-one in between each of the concourse buildings. For example: If you wanted to park on the far west side of the airport, just tell him Ramp 1. From there you can taxi to any gate you choose.

You have to remember from an ATC perspective (I'm ZLA) our scopes don't show where the airline gates are, we just see the terminals (Example I can't tell you where gate 87 is but i can tell u where terminal 5 is).... so if there is a particular terminal, just request it from ATC ;).... I'll tell you "Proceed at requested"

Usually in Europe and Asia, Airlines are assigned a terminal and they park to whatever is available.
For Example London Heathrow will display terminal 2, I will park at whatever gate is available in FS.
