Hi,
why is it, that you are only allowed to use Delta aircrafts (i mean these freeware from the Deltava website). I just tried the DVA 757 and figured out, the FMC is just half size, no chance to enter anything. The point is, I don't believe real world checkrides will be done on half completed airliners. Why not using the plane in a checkride the way you will do it all time afterwards. I mean, giving you the adivce to fly the VOR-App by hand makes sence in order to prove your ability, but why not on a much better payware plane, that gives you any kind of information you could need. Switching of the AP is also possible in these airliners.
I don't like to start a discussion about everybody needs to be treated equal and not everbody bought such and such software. Well, if you didn't buy a realworld airliner you can apperantly not fly, did you?
What is the secret behind using only Delta freeware?
I've stopped to do my checkride for the 2nd time, cause I don't feel like learning how the FS internal nav system works, cause it just totaly freaks me out to learn something I'll never use again. I mean there is way how to navigate with the FMS or INS or even just with the compass and that's just way you do it and Level-D or PSS gives me the possiblity to fly the plane as it was meant to.
cheers chris
