I noticed the when in climbing to cruise alt or while @ cruise alt, if I go to the spot plane view, that the textures or the ground and my clouds are very blurry and not smooth and detailed. Today I had a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT 1GB DDR2 installed and hoped this was the correct fix. Apparentley, I am wrong. So if you have encountered this before please advise me. I guess my image pixel is too large to attatch, so if you would like to view the screen shot, plz email or you can add me to your msn/yahoo msgr >> xiaobarbar@yahoo.com thanks

FS9 or FSX? Have you adjusted your settings or just plugged it in and see what happens? Have you tried out NHancer?

Hi Andrew, I am using FS9, I did adjust settings,, but not much,, this new graphics card is a big upgrade from the one that I was using,, I am also suspecting that it might be something in the motherboard, because again, the airplane is clear and crisp, but the terrain and clouds are very blurry. This happens more with the CRJ200 from DVA. I may just have a bad tower. I don't know what NHancer is.. ?

Running FS9, I have an Nvidia GTX 260 and I've had problems with blurries ever since I built my system. I went from a AMD Athlon64 4000 w/2 GB RAM and 7950GT card to new system with an E8500 o/c to 4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, and a GTX 260. Never had blurry ground textures with my older, slower system but cannot get rid of blurry ground textures with my faster system.
I've tried every nHancer setting possible but no luck. Frame rates are great, though. I've resigned it to a drivers issue, don't know what else it could be.

Jim, I am thinking that my problem is more internal, ie my mother board or something else inside the tower. I am seriousley debating the idea of purchasing a new pc. This one was baught brand new and built for gaming. I noticed that recently it was having troubles. I also noticed that more troubles came with the new Acars V2.2 and immediatley after the install of the CRJ fleet. For some unkown reason it is at it's worst when I use the CRJ 200. I can go to spot plane view at FL360 and the ground is sooo blurry and the clouds well, they look like blocks and not round and fluffy lol,,,, ok. Want to see the pics of that, let me know, I will send to you. I am also thinking that maybe I need a new FS9 disc number 4, as mine is ok, but could look better. I have suspected many possibilities here. Tell me what you think.

Search in the water cooler for FS9 tweaks or video settings for your system. They should help a lot.

Make sure that you have the setting that increases the range where texture quality is high is extended. I highly doubt that your motherboard would have anything to do with graphics on your computer. The motherboard is more of a central piece in which the main components of your computer plug into and where the processer is located. I don't think that something being wrong with your motherboard would make your FS graphics look weird if parts of your FS graphics are fine and then the ground textures aren't right. This is a FS/Video card issue I would almost garentee.

Thanks JT, I have purchased and installed a new vid/graphics card,, NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT 1GB DDR2. No change at all... I am acutally thinking that maybe the processor is bad or I might have to uninstall and reinstall FS9.
