I was able to stop my stuttering finally and fully by disabling Catalyst A.I. and Windows 7 makes a difference as well!

I didn't have any stuttering, but I noticed that when i changed the advanced windows settings to best performance, i jumped from 20-30 fps to well over 100. I think all Windows versions are resource hogs, so maybe give this a try, too. So far no probs from my 4850 HD, but good to know there is a new driver.

Congrats on the FPS.
What will you lock them too?

I don't think anything. It seems when i had it locked at 35, it "tried" too hard to maintain it. I know there's some external programs to lock FPS rates, so maybe i'll look into that.

External FPS programs for FS? Never heard of that.
Setting the FPS Lock to Unlimited in FSX gives me 500FPS. LOL

Yeah 500! lol, I'm pretty sure it's because of TweakFPS for FSX.
Although I just lock them to 75FPS.

Lol yeah very weird but cool, I tested out the TweakFSX addon and when I flew it was well up to 500!
I might have gotten rid of stuttering but now flying in FSX is still not possible because I get Vertical Tearing in the video. Even at 60Hz at 30FPS.
