For some reason when I try to fly the DVA B757, the aircraft behaves oddly. On climb, the V/S A/P command will not cooperate and the aircarft continues to pitch up (to vertical) until stall. Even with A/P off, I can't to pitch the nose down to level flight (with the yoke all the way forward, the most i can get the nose down to is 10 deg nose up). I've never had this problem with any other aircraft in FS. I tried re-calibrating the yoke, but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

Good call, Vincenzo, that's probably what it is. I'll try that, thanks.

And make sure that your a/c is trimmed properly. You may have too much nose up trim dialed in.

Dustin
When I first started flying online on VATSIM, the default trim up and down switches FSX assigned to the joystick (I still haven't got a flight yoke!) were the same buttons that FSInn used to assign to the push to talk button for the microphone. You can guess what a problem that caused. Every time I talked on the mike to ATC, I'd go into an uncontrollable climb and loose controll of the aircraft!

This happened to me once in the EMB-120. I accidentally engaged the AP CMD switch pre-takeoff (without ALT HOLD or anything else enabled) and lo-and-behold, the darned thing slowing started commanding full ANU WHILE ON THE GROUND. ( I confirmed this behavior on a later flight)
I caught it shortly after takeoff, especially after the tail strike and when MEM_CTR commented that he didn't know an EMB-120 could climb so fast!
Talk about the fight of your life! Trim runaways are never fun

Dustin, to add to my previous post...
Last night, on the KLAX-PHNL I had the 757-200 do the exact same thing at FL360. I went manual to maneuver for TCAS traffic and I had my trims centered and couldn't push the nose down until I slowed the aircraft to 261 kias.
I fiddled with everything possible and finally gave it over to Oscar the Autopilot. Apparently that was enough to get things squared away. Unfortunately all of the time spent at low altitude ran me too short of fuel to make PHNL. I've flown many flights with the 757 and never had this happen before until last night. Strange indeed
