I have the 945 with gtx275 no issues at all. I am sure the 865 will do a good job. nvidia all the way for FS.

Yes, I agree with NVIDIA, especially EVGA. Their cards come with a free over clocking utility, awesome support, and run FS nicely.

Kelton it's not about pushing settings up and seeing if you have good FPS. It's up to you to tweak FSX to your liking! Start with the highest settings, and if you're not happy with the FPS, try lowering a few things, etc. It's truly about tweaking it to you! Not counting FPS at "X" settings.

Looks good, except I would wait until Windows 7 comes out and get that instead of Vista.

Windows 7 comes out October 22, although you can preorder it so you won't have to wait to get your parts.

Think I am going to wait another year after the release of Windows 7, I don't want to have to pay for microsoft's troubleshooting sessions...This might be just a rumor, but some computer guru's out here in Vegas have already had some issues with the Beta version...

Make sure you have the largest power supply you can find...Plus, a super cooling system or the over clocked processor will fry...Voice of experience....
