Hey guys,
I go on to fsx and when it's loading it says it failed to load the airtrike ultrlight. i go to my select aircraft and none of my planes are their, just helicopters! i dont get it! i restarted my computer thinking this was a one shot problem and it was still just heli's! i have had problems with fsx before but they usually just leave after i restart. i am running on vista if that helps. i dont know what to do! it works fine ( i think, but its just helis!)
Thanks,
Tanner

Tanner what operating system do you have?
I know for me I had some similar problems but what you can do is find where .wx files for saves and delete them along with the corresponding file names that precede them. then reboot FSX. If that does n0ot cure your problem try and deleting the fsx.cfg file and reboot. this cleans up all the garb in the program

OK Tanner look in you documents folder and under Flight Simulator X files folder you will see sonething like 737.wx and 737.fssave files need to remove all these files even the ACARS Flight files in the folder. and your FSX.CFG file is in Computer/user/[account name]/AppData/Roaming profile/Microsoft/FSX. look in there and if after deleting these files that is where the FSX.cfg file is stored. make a copy of it in case you need to restore it

i deleted all the .wx files, but i cant find fsx.cfg, however they may be a problem with that one because sometimes when i run fsx it says "fsx can not run because it can not write fsx.cfg

Just out of curiosity - are you looking for your airplanes in the root directory in FSX called AIRPLANES? If so, you have had a bum install of some add on or freeware. The airplanes should be in your SIM OBJECTS folder under the folder AIRPLANES...just a thought.
