Hey guys, I'm looking to invest some $ into a yoke for FS9. I was able to come down to two products, the CH Eclipse Yoke and the Saitek Pro flight system. I don't really cater for the price but what I'm looking for is a yoke that gives the best or the closest feeling to the real thing. Meaning it centers by itself and is not to "loose" I understand that the saitek pro comes with a seperate throttle system but I don't really care for it. My main concern is the yoke.I've heard and read a lot of positive reviews on both products and I can't make up my mind. One more thing, about the eclipse yoke, I see that the throttle is linked to the yoke, will this throttle on the yoke override my seperate throttle system that I currently have (Saitek throttle)? If any of you guys can help me out here it'll be very much appreciated.

I have the Saitek Pro Flight System, but I've used the eclipse yoke before, and I have to say that I think the Saitek feels a little more realistic. Mainly because the yoke itself is larger and thicker, more like a plane that an airline would fly. (Ie. Boeing, MD etc..) The CJ felt like a Cessnas yoke.

Saitek all the way .... I have owned both and Saitek's yoke is superior in all ways.
Besides, the CH Eclipse Yoke just looks goofy.

I have the old CH products yoke and like it.....although I wanted to buy the Saitek. At the time, however, they were having Quality problems (random key presses--real bad news). The company did, IMHO, a great job taking care of its customers, and they also fixed the problems. The new CH yoke does look weird!

Hi Caleb,
I have the Saitek yoke and rudder pedals. The separate throttles are a must also. [must have the rudder pedals, if you want realisum] I have used the Ch, don't care for them, cheap looking.
Saitek has great support. Just remember, they will wear out with heavy use.

I personally have a CH yoke and pedals. I have personally had really good luck with mine. I can't say anything about the saitek products but they are more thick then I would go something like that since its a little more realistic. Either way and you would be good to go though.
