Hi guys, I have a question about the frame rates, I just finished a flight with an average of 14.4 frames per second, that was before adding a new RAM card, before I had an average of about 7 or 8, so is 14.4 a good frame rate?
Here are the flights.
Before adding the RAM card
http://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0x659cf (8.2 FPS)
http://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0x6617b (7.0 FPS)
Last flight with more RAM:
http://www.deltava.org/pirep.do?id=0x6e32d (14.4 FPS)
Thanks for the help,

It depends on what you consider good. If you can stand flying with 14.4 FPS, then it's good. If not, it's bad.

Well I actually meant, wich is better more frames or less frames? when I got about 7 fps, FS usually got stocked about every 15-25 seconds, but now, with 14.4 FS runs perfect without getting stucked.

The gold standard is 24 FPS. The average person cannot differentiate frame rates above 24FPS, and anything below that will not look smooth to the average person. I can not judge whether you are average or not, but that is the standard that is used in Hollywood.

I assume you're talking FSX....
On the ground in a complex aircraft at a complex airport I'd be happy with 14. In the air you shuold be seeing better than 20, but honeslty it doesnt matter what we think, it's what you think that matters.

There is a lot behind the scenes when it comes to FPS in games. I found a wiki link that explains some of it:

Thanks for all your help guys! So bottom line, if you have lets say 24 FPS, that means you see 24 frames each second, wich is "good" or more realistic, am I right?
Thanks again,
EDIT: oh, I actually use fs2004
