We are thinking of purchasing a new iMac but it looks like FSX does not work very well on Macs and to get it to work at all requires partitioning and other stuff I'd rather avoid. X-plane looks like the recommended flight simulator for a mac. Does anyone use this program on a mac and does it work with Delta Virtual, ACARS, and Vatsim?

Connor - do a cooler search - many threads.
I use X-Plane on the Mac side, and FS9 and FSX on the Windows side via Boot Camp.
Macbook Pro
Ryan may hop in on this one.

It does not work with DVA ACARS.But you can still fly on Vatsim and log it manually. It requires some plugins for Vatsim readly available.

Same as Andy... X-Plane on the OSX side, FS9/FSX on the Windows side va BootCamp. It's not real complicated.
I might add, you will probably be disappointed in the aircraft textures with X-Plane, but it's flight dynamics are out of this world.

Texure quality depends on your system and settings in X-plane.I had the same problem until I went to a I7 system and the textures look fine.
