Guys, I have a good idea...
You know how the real Delta airlines has "Sky Miles,"
I think that dva should too.
You could earn 10 for every hour flown, or something.
And you could get some free payware or something?

One question: Who pays for the payware? All payware is licensed. DVA'd have to have agreements with companies like Level-D and PMDG to distribute their product for free to members. Don't see them agreeing to that anytime soon. Otherwise I like the idea.

Who would buy all of the payware aircraft? DVA is a non profit organization so that wouldn't work out. The century clubs are there for pilot recognition.

I think the bigger problem is that outside of the Century Club, we don't really recognize quantitative accomplishments.
Cheers!

Instead of merchandise, how about incentives. For example, we can use our points to fly a "dream flight" to and/or from anywhere in the system regardless of the schedule.
Or how about winning a customized paint job (if we have the artists) for the plane of their choice (i.e. New York Jets 767 or Iron Maiden 757).
No monetary goods, just some fun stuff.

Michael, that I like! Get a custom paint job for one of your birds. Maybe w/ your name under the cockpit window. That'd be sweet.

I think something that would be cool is to have official dva sigs with achievements on it. Like it would look different according to what century club or something you were in. The only flaw with it is that it would take time for the signatures for all of the different programs/ century clubs to be made.

I like the ideas here!
We definitely have painters here you would just have to confront them.
J.T.-That is an excellent idea. Yes, it would take time, but yes, it is possible. We have a lot of people here now that I'm sure most could contribute.
I can paint o.k., and I even own the LDS so, you know, if we get this thing started in the near future...I'm willing to contribute myself.
