Does anyone know how to connect 2 throttles. [quad.] I want to give my PMDG 747-400 4 throttles. The plug-in is what I need. Is there a y cord?? It uses a round plug, that fits into the yoke.
Thanks,
Jerry

Additional throttles are sold USB, and can plug into their A. your yoke USB ports or B. any old USB port.

Alexander,
Thanks,
I did not know that. [usb] My yoke went out after a couple years[many flights] I bought a new one, and the throttles come with it.

Jerrell, the round plug that is on the back of the Yoke is for the X-52 Joystick. There are 3, I believe, USB plugs on the back of the Yoke as well for throttle quadrant(s). I had two throttle quads attached in just that manner until I went for the bankrupt purchase of my 737 Throttle Quadrant.

Andrew,
Thanks for the information. I have a different set-up. On the back of my Saitek yoke I have 3 USP jacks, 1 round jack, that takes the plug from the throttle quad. The new throttle quad. is the same, and has a round plug. Maybe there is a Y, or an adaptor that will work.

A search on Google netted several adaptors, plugs.. here is one that might work, any ideas. In the meantime I have sent a message to Saitek.

A note back from Saitek, reads,
--------------------------------------
Unfortunately, the round plugged throttle quadrant is only designed to be sold and used when plugged into the Yoke. The electronics for the device are housed inside the Yoke chassis. An adaptor would not make the throttle quadrant function separate from the Yoke.
-------------------------------
Another Google search brings up this round plug splitter cable, which I have asked Saitek if it will work.

The first throttle came with the yoke and plugs into the round plug on the back of the yoke. Any additional throttle you purchase (as long as it wasn't part of a yoke/throttle original package) is usb and plugs into a usb plug in the back of the yoke.
