I run the repaint manager in Vista 64-bit with no issues, just run as administrator.

Are you the only person who uses your FS computer? If so, I'd recomend fully unlocking your system and disable User Acount Control. That way you're using the Windows "real" admin acount. I did that and it works just fine.

Ok, then what I would do is disable Windows Account Manager and that will let you access the "true" Admin account. Once you do that, you shouldn't have more problems. And just b/c your account is labeled as Admin doesn't mean you actually are. Windows hide the actuall Admin account to keep people from accidentaly removing or modifying files that their PC needs to run properly. Just Google "disable Vista account manager" and you'll get a step by step guide on how to do it.

Gerhardt - get into your plane, shut everything down. Save it as either a prepared flight or your default. You can also select C/D from the LDS menu

What I did was I put my plane at the gate in ATL, then shut down all my systems, saved the flight, and checked the box, "set as default flight." Now, every time I start FS, my 767 is already loaded and its cold and dark.

Gerhardt, its not starting or it won't install your repaints? If its not starting, there may be a corrupt file in there somewhere. You may want to try reinstalling the paint manager.
