If I have to minimize FS2K2 to check WX, ServInfo, or reconnect to SB, sometimes, but not always, my annunciations and cabin call-outs will repeat when I re-open FS to continue the flight. Why does it do this?
I run in full-screen. FS will not run in windowed mode on this computer.
Sometimes all I hear is "Gear up" and the sound of the gear retracting. Other times, I will hear every cabin crew announcement from T/O to landing all speaking at the same time. It's just a jumble of sentences.
If I don't use the cabin crew announcements during the flight (which I have been hesitant of as lately) I don't hear anything except the gear-up announcement after returning to FS2K2.
I doesn't do this all of the time, but often enough that I've missed controller calls before and that's not good.
Does this happen to anyone else? Does anyone know of a fix? What causes it?

I'm sorry I can't help you out with this, but I was just wondering if it's the 727 panel you're using and if so two things: first of all, is it the 727 on the new installer and second of all where can I find the crew announcements?

I'd have to look for the crew announcements file on AVSIM, but that's where I got it from.
But even if I don't use the cabin crew announcements at the beginning of a flight, the B722 regular co-pilot call-outs will repeat.
Pisses me off that I don't know how to fix it or where to even look to try and fix it..

Sorry, I didn't exactly answer you question.
The cabin announcements are not included with the aircraft. I have the first install as there is no second, or 'upgrade' to the B722 installer.

That's good because I like the 722 panel just the way it is .

make sure that u dont have the gauge that makes the call-outs isnt installed twice in ur panel, or that there isnt another gauge that does the same. Hope this helps.

about the new installer: they took off the flight engineer's panel!
I run in full screen and FS minimizes SB (and SB host) inside flightsim at the bottom of the screen.

I know it wasn't installed twice Rob, because I had to have help the first time I installed it. I followed the Readme.text to the letter. I just didn't know where that panel folder was before someone here told me.
If I know I won't have to minimize the screen like when flying without ATC on-line, I will use the announcements and they work fine. If I get disconnected from VATSIM, chances are better than average that they will repeat all at the same time.
I guess I need to be finding out who the author of the code was and ask him why this sometimes happens.

I've seen this before. It only happened to me when I had my old, crappy one channel sound card. When I got my new one, all my audio problems stopped. You might want to consider grabbing a SBLive!. They run fairly cheap and will get the job done.
