Anybody out there having any issues with Saitek's Radio panels? They work properly for most of the default airplanes. However I can't seem to get them to work properly on the DC-8-61. They function but not correctly. The Standby frequency is supposed to be updated when you turn the frequency knobs, but instead the current frequency is changed.
The numbers also skip digits so that it's hard to zero in on a particular frequency.
I have downloaded all the latest drivers from the website, to no avail.
Any help with the DC-8?

Jon, I'm using it with the DC-8 and the only issues I have are that the Pitot/Wing heat do not activate correctly. The landing/taxi lights work as expected, but don't update the overhead for some reason.
My active/standby work fine with the DC-8 so I'm not sure what is happening there. However, I DID have this issue with the B727 but then again, the 727 has no "standby" frequencies (your on whatever you dial in).
The "sensitive" frequency knob is a known complaint and is commonly discussed on the Saitek forums.
I love my Saitek panels, but they do have a few issues
Feel free to email me if there is anything I can help with.
Oh, forgot to ask, FS9 or FSX?

I'd try to program them with the registered version of FSUIPC. I don't use Saitek's program. It causes too many issues. FSUIPC is golden for this type of thing.

Christopher, I *think* that the Saitek panels use a proprietary program to communicate with FS but could be wrong. It would be nice if it would integrate directly as a standard windows HID device but sadly, Saitek decided to go the proprietary route
Rob: Duly noted. Not sure how I missed that

I'm using FSX and did solve the standby freq issue by changing the radio setup in the .cfg file, but when I use the FSX radio panel driver from Saitek, the radio frequencies skip about 4 numbers for each detent position of the rotary switches. If I use the FS2004 driver with FSX they work much better. I'll check the posted URL, Thanks!
