Is anyone else having this problem?
I just flew KATL-KDSM for the second time so I could send a log file to makers of ASA. I have Force Destination Weather Zone checked, and yet the surrounding stations are still depicting clear skies. The correct weather for KDSM was OVC001 and 3/4sm vis. I could still see the airport at the final fix (5nm out), then the vis went down to 2sm and stayed there while the ceiling was OVC010. Meanwhile, nearby fields KPEA and KOVX (which should've been at OVC001 and 3/4sm or AT LEAST OVC010 and 2sm like what KDSM was depicting) were clear skies and unlimited vis. I'm importing my flightplan into ASA, and ASA is stating the correct weather in it's own program. The log file shows that ASA is even telling FSX that KDSM is OVC001 and 3/4sm and yet it isn't working. Also, the log file says that ASA is telling KPEA and KOXV to be OVC-008... I don't think FSX knows what to do with that.
Is anyone else having similar problems? Has anyone had success with ASA?
