I've been having this issue for a while and used to think that it was no big deal. However, i am growing tired of not being able to see in the dark. I think the picture is pretty self explanatory. The lights are not in the correct position and as a result, do not light up the ground in front of the plane. This is the fleet md88. Does anyone else have this issue?
Thanks

Looks like you pressed "L" or CTRL "L". Those wing lights are extensible if you have your keys/yoke/joystick etc. set up for it. Also, ensure that you have the LANDING LIGHTS LIGHT UP THE ground option on (something like that)

ok, i was pressing L, so i got the cone issue fixed, but in this picture, the lights are giving off very little light.

Go into your display options:
To open the Display settings dialog box:
On the main screen, click Settings, and then click Display.
-or-
On the Options menu, point to Settings, and then click Display.
Go to AIRCRAFT SETTINGS
check the landing lights option. When you select this setting, aircraft landing lights will illuminate ground objects.

First, welcome to the greatest VA - DVA. The fleet MD-88 is based off of the SGA MD-80 series aircraft. In the docs., it states that you need to 'bind' a key to the Tail Hook command in Flight Simulator. This is needed for you to "extend" the landing lights. I had the same issue when I first started flying the MD-88 and finally tracked it down by reading the docs. If you also choose to open/close the air stairs located on the underside of the stairs, you need to 'bind' a key to the Wing Fold/Unfold command in Flight Simulator. Make sure you assign a key that is not already assigned in Flight Simulator.
I hope this helps.....

Thanks Cleon! That worked. Also, i'm not really that new to DVA, i've just been a little quite in the wc lately. However, i am new to the md-88 program. Thought that i would give the maddog a try.
