I am using XP, FS9, FDC Live Cockpit, Vatsim.
When I take off, the elevator trim is all the way to the stops, either nose up or down; doesn't seem to matter based on winds or airport. When I take off, I have to use trim control on the elevator to take off, as I have no other elevator control. I also have no ability to turn the aircraft. When I engage the autopilot, it works as programmed and after that, flies perfectly in all phases of flight. It does not matter if I am starting new, or continuing a flight. I have installed SP2 from the Just Flight website.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Do you have all the hydraulics systems operational?
Which 777 model are you using?

Do your controls check out when you do your before take off check list? Are they working before you take off?

Yes Alan. As soon as I taxi, the elevator goes to the trim stop, either full up or full down. Before taxi, it works perfectly. I don't think it's a calibration issue, because all controls work fine until I taxi, then elevator goes to the stops, the left spoilers deploy and it stays this way until I put in take off power. The spoilers go down, and I use trim to take off, engage the autopilot, and then all works fine. If I disengage the a/p after 5,000 ft., I have full, normal control of all controls. I can navigate and fly and land by hand after that if I wanted.

Two recommendations. 1) Check control settings in FS9 and 2) Like Tom said definitely check the hydraulics. Let us know how things turn out. Good Luck!!

Puzzled...if it is control settings, why would they magically work after engaging the autopilot? same question for hydraulics. After I'm on course, I can disengage the a/p and the whole aircraft works perfectly.??I have checked those two things and no joy. Thanks very much for the suggestions!!

make sure you assignments are correct for trim, maybe a keyboard / joystick button is making it go crazy.

Check your assignments under the pedals as well (or if you have a twist joystick)...I had an issue once where my engines would go to 100% when I used left pedal...just a thought,.

I will again check all these suggestions. I'm confident it's me, not the program. It's totally confusing that it only happens on takeoff!!??

I've seen this before when my control device assignments were somehow reset and throttle asix all other axis were conflicting with each other. Like Andy said... check all axis assignments and make sure you don't have the same axis assigned to multiple control devices.

SOLVED....
Thanks very much to all who helped me with this. I contacted FDC with another minor issue, and when I made one little, behind the scenes fix, it solved both problems, and now both programs are smooth like butter!
On top of that, I was able to get the Delta paint for the PSS 777 to work, so now I'm just thrilled.
Thanks again to you all!
