Not sure why this happens, but it seems since I 're-enlisted' with DVA, every time I try make a flight online my entire Flight Sim freezes along with ACARS. Now I have done a full uninstall and reinstall and it still keeps happening. But when I fly on Vatsim without ACARS, there are no problems. Any suggestions?

Sorry I should have put my computer setting and flight sim version up. I am running FSX, on XP Pro. I am only using a 3 Ghz Intel CPU, 2 Gig of RAM, 7600 Nvidia 512 Meg video card, and about 700 gigs of storage of some hard drives.
Thanks for the quick response though.

Your video card can't handle the rendering demands of FSX.

That's not true. I have a very good friend who is an FSX GURU who runs it at 30FPS locked with these specs:
"P4 3.2GHz HT, 2GB RAM, nVidia 7600 GS 512MB AGP, WinXP SP3, FSX SP2, FSG mesh, UTX, GEX, ST, REX2, nHancer, Dell 24", NickN optimized" Straight from his signature in another forum. You may know him as Bill Barrette who is a REX beta tester and he wrote the manual for REX2.
Regarding the original issue, I think it sounds like an OOM error or something like that. I suggest trying this out - http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041 - SPECIFICALLY the section beginning with: "The method of removing out of memory and other errors on a 32bit Operating system..." I also recommend you follow that thread 100% for much higher performance in FSX.

If there's a lockup to do with ACARS, I'd look into the FSX modules directory and see if there's a file called FSUIPC.LOG. I'd be curious to see what it says.
Cheers!

I never had a problem with my video card and flight sim until I used Acars. Thanks for the support though.
